Rockstar drops the launch trailer

Rockstar’s official GTA VI page lists the Launch Trailer as released on October 15, 2026. For anyone following the road to Leonida, this is a new official release—not a fan edit or an anonymous leak.

The music is officially named

Rockstar says the trailer features the debut of Flower in a Hurricane, from original-score composers Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. That is an official music credit, rather than a soundtrack guess based on a leaked playlist.

The announcement does not, by itself, confirm the complete radio-station lineup or a Spotify integration. A song appearing in a trailer is not evidence that players can connect a personal music account in-game.

What the trailer does not settle

A launch trailer is worth watching, but its name is not proof that the game has already released. Nor should cinematic footage be treated as confirmation of every rumored gameplay feature.

There is no basis in this announcement alone to promise multiplayer launch timing, cross-play, crew-management tools, or particular heist mechanics. We will keep those claims separate from official information.

A good moment to get your crew together

For Vice Hub crews, the useful move is simple: watch the official trailer together and compare what Rockstar actually shows. Keep your mission-board goals flexible until the relevant gameplay details are confirmed.

Pick your crew, agree on who you want to play with, and decide which parts of Leonida you want to explore first. Those are community plans—not promises about features in the game.
